Vivero Grew Plants

About us

Our company is dedicated to the large-scale production of ornamental plants, specializing in tropical and subtropical palm trees. We are currently the largest nursery in the country in terms of scale and production volume within this specialization.

A long track record

Grew Plants is the result of a passion that spans generations.

Our roots trace back to the Province of Santa Fe, where our ancestors were engaged in the production of forest plants, rose bushes, and lemon trees, laying the foundation for what is now a leading company in the nursery sector at the national level.

We began our operations in 1982, in the fertile lands of eastern Formosa Province—an ideal environment for the cultivation and development of a wide variety of species. In 1988, we officially entered the national market, expanding both our production capacity and our client network.

At the dawn of the new millennium, we became the first company in the province authorized to export palm trees, reaching destinations such as Italy, Spain, France, Qatar, and the People’s Republic of China.

Prior to the Iraq War, that Arab nation was the leading force in the international palm export market. When the conflict broke out, our company capitalized on the demand previously supplied by nurseries in that country, demonstrating that even in adversity, opportunities for growth can emerge.

In the years that followed, we strengthened our position within the country, building a portfolio of more than seventy recurring clients. At the same time, we expanded our cultivation area, incorporated new technologies, and steadily grew our workforce.

Today, we operate four facilities located in the Pilcomayo Department, with an estimated stock of over 1.1 million high-quality plants and seedlings. This makes us the largest producer of tropical and subtropical palms in the country. We are also the leading producer of Cycas revoluta in the Southern Cone and the second-largest in South America. Our focus is on supplying the domestic market, while also exporting large specimens to various countries within MERCOSUR and the European Union.

More than a nursery, we are a family with deep roots and a vision for the future.
